The Rajasthan state government announced a new work‑from‑home initiative aimed at creating employment opportunities for women across the state.
The Rajasthan government unveiled a work‑from‑home scheme designed specifically for women, marking a focused effort to expand female participation in the state's labour market. The announcement was made by the state’s Department of Women and Child Development, highlighting the administration’s commitment to flexible employment options.
The scheme seeks to enable women to earn incomes from home by linking them with remote work opportunities in sectors such as data entry, digital marketing, and customer support. Officials said the initiative will also provide skill‑development training to ensure participants are equipped for the digital workplace.
Implementation will be coordinated through district‑level offices, which will register eligible women, verify their qualifications, and connect them with partner companies and NGOs offering remote jobs. The government has indicated that the program will be rolled out in phases, beginning with pilot districts before expanding statewide.
