Rajasthan Farmers Get Relief

The recent spell of rainfall in eastern and southern Rajasthan has come as a boon for farmers in the region. The Kharif crop sowing, which was lagging behind, has now gained momentum. In just four days, the sowing area has increased by over 7 lakh hectares, taking the total to 145.03 lakh hectares. This significant increase in sowing area is expected to bring relief to farmers who were worried about the delayed monsoon. The rainfall has not only improved the soil moisture but also filled up water reservoirs, ensuring adequate water supply for irrigation.
