The Rajasthan government has pushed back the last date for applying to 24,752 contract cleaning positions to October 13, extending the original deadline of September 28.
The state government of Rajasthan announced on Wednesday that the deadline for submitting applications for contract cleaning staff has been extended to 13 October, 2026. The original cut‑off date of 28 September was deemed insufficient for potential candidates to complete the online process.
A total of 24,752 vacancies are slated across 183 urban local bodies in the state, ranging from municipal corporations to town panchayats. These posts are intended to strengthen sanitation services in cities and towns, with recruitment being carried out on a contractual basis.
Applicants must register on the official Rajasthan government recruitment portal, fill out the required details, and upload supporting documents before the new deadline. The selection will be based on a written test followed by a document verification stage, as per the standard procedure for such government‑run contracts.
