The Rajasthan Cricket Association has scheduled elections for September 29, ending a two‑year ad‑hoc administration.

The Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) announced that its long‑delayed elections will be conducted on 29 September, marking the end of a two‑year period during which an ad‑hoc committee has overseen the body.

The ad‑hoc administration was appointed after internal disputes that led to the suspension of the elected board in 2022. The upcoming poll will allow members of the state’s cricketing community to elect a new executive committee, including a president, secretary and other office‑bearers.

The Election Committee of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has cleared the schedule and will supervise the voting process to ensure compliance with its regulations. Candidates are expected to file nominations in the coming weeks.

The outcome will shape the governance of cricket in Rajasthan, influencing everything from grassroots development to the organization of domestic tournaments such as the Ranji Trophy matches hosted in the state.
