The new act will introduce stringent penalties for manufacturers and sellers of counterfeit agricultural inputs, as well as establish a monitoring framework for quality control. It is expected to protect farmers from costly sub‑standard products and safeguard the integrity of the state's agricultural supply chain.
Chauhan emphasized that the law would be a decisive step toward strengthening consumer confidence and supporting the long‑term sustainability of Rajasthan’s farming sector. He urged stakeholders to cooperate with the government in enforcing the forthcoming regulations.
