Rajasthan Board Revamps Answer Sheet Pattern for 2027 Secondary Exams

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education announced a new coded answer sheet format for 40 theory questions in the 2027 secondary and senior secondary exams, the first change in a decade.
The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has disclosed that the answer sheet design for its secondary (Class X) and senior secondary (Class XII) examinations will be altered for the 2027 session. This marks the first revision of the answer booklet format in ten years.
Under the new layout, candidates will use a specially coded answer sheet for the forty theory questions in each paper. The coding system is intended to simplify the marking process and reduce manual errors during evaluation.
RBSE officials indicated that the updated pattern aims to align the assessment process with modern examination standards while ensuring a smoother experience for students and examiners alike. Schools across Rajasthan are expected to receive the new templates well before the commencement of the 2027 exam cycle.
