Recent showers have cooled Rajasthan after a scorching spell, and the weather department expects milder conditions with occasional clouds over the next few days.

A series of showers swept across several districts of Rajasthan on Monday, bringing much‑needed relief after several days of intense heat. The rain, though brief, helped lower daytime temperatures and increased humidity, offering a welcome break for residents and farmers alike.
Temperatures that had hovered near the upper thirties Celsius are expected to dip a few degrees, while the moisture in the air has risen, making the climate feel more comfortable. Local authorities reported that the rain also provided some replenishment to water bodies that have been under stress.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a short‑term outlook indicating partly cloudy skies for the next three to four days across most of the state. Temperatures are likely to remain moderate, with daytime highs staying below the recent peaks. Isolated showers cannot be ruled out, especially in the western and central regions, where residual moisture may trigger brief downpours.
Residents are advised to stay hydrated and protect against sudden temperature changes, while farmers can take advantage of the cooler spell to plan irrigation and field activities. The outlook will be updated if any significant weather changes occur.
