A recent downpour has eased the heat across Delhi and the National Capital Region, while the surrounding hills face a drop in temperatures as winter approaches.
A heavy rainfall that began late last night has brought much‑needed relief to Delhi and the National Capital Region, easing the oppressive heat that had gripped the area for days.
The monsoon showers have soaked the streets and reduced temperatures by a few degrees, providing respite for residents and commuters.
However, the same weather pattern has left the surrounding Himalayan foothills in a colder state, with temperatures dropping sharply as winter sets in.
Meteorological authorities predict that the rain will continue for the next 24 hours, followed by a gradual cooling trend across the region.
Residents are advised to stay hydrated and keep an eye on the latest weather updates as the situation evolves.
