During the student outreach program 'Chhatron ki Goonj' in Indore, Rahul Gandhi highlighted the city's development record while pointing to perceived vulnerabilities in the ruling BJP.
Rahul Gandhi arrived in Indore to address a gathering of students under the banner of "Chhatron ki Goonj". The event, organized to connect with youth across Madhya Pradesh, provided the opposition leader a platform to discuss local governance and national politics.
Speaking to the audience, Gandhi praised Indore as a model of urban development, citing its cleanliness, infrastructure upgrades and efficient civic administration. He described the city as one of the "best" in the country, using it as a benchmark for what effective governance can achieve.
Leveraging the example, Gandhi warned that the ruling BJP is showing signs of vulnerability, arguing that the party’s policies have not replicated Indore's successes elsewhere. He urged voters to consider the contrast between the city's progress and the performance of the BJP-led state and central governments.
