Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will speak to 50,000 Gen Z participants at a 'Students' Echo' event in Indore on September 12, with entry limited to youths under 30.
Indore will host a large-scale youth rally on September 12, when Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to address a crowd of approximately 50,000 Gen Z participants. The gathering, branded as the 'Students' Echo' programme, is set to take place at the city’s Nehru Stadium.
Organisers have stipulated that only individuals under the age of 30 will be permitted entry, and they must complete a registration process beforehand. In addition to Gandhi’s speech, the agenda includes a live concert by a well‑known singer, aimed at drawing further youth engagement.
The event marks a concerted effort by the Congress party to reconnect with younger voters ahead of upcoming electoral contests, especially in central India. By focusing on a demographic that has largely been absent from traditional political rallies, the party hopes to project a fresh, youth‑friendly image.
Security arrangements are being coordinated by local police, with crowd‑control measures and health protocols in place to manage the sizable assembly expected at the stadium.
