Rahul Gandhi Launches Street Campaign in UP to Revive Congress

Rahul Gandhi arrived in Uttar Pradesh this week to kick off a street‑level campaign aimed at revitalising the Congress party’s presence in the state. The veteran leader has been engaging directly with voters, holding rallies in crowded markets and public spaces to listen to their concerns. Congress has struggled in recent elections in UP, losing ground to the BJP and regional parties. Gandhi’s campaign seeks to rebuild grassroots support by addressing local issues such as unemployment, infrastructure and social welfare. If successful, the initiative could signal a broader strategy for Congress to regain influence in the country’s most populous state.
