On Radhashtami, Kubereswar Dham in Sehore hosted a grand ceremony where gem‑adorned idols of Radha‑Krishna were offered 56 bhogs before a silver‑kalash mahabhshek, drawing large numbers of worshippers.

Sehore’s Kubereswar Dham became the focal point of devotion on Radhashtami, as thousands gathered to witness a meticulously planned ritual. The temple’s main sanctum displayed the deities Radha and Krishna dressed in intricate gem‑studied jewellery, reflecting the festive spirit of the occasion.
The priests performed a sequence of 56 bhogs, each offering presented to the idols in a traditional order. As the final offering concluded, the chant of “Radha” resonated through the hall, marking the culmination of the devotional offerings.
The highlight of the ceremony was a mahabhshek performed using silver kalashas, a symbolic act intended to purify and honor the divine couple. The silver vessels were filled with sanctified water and poured over the idols, drawing audible reverence from the assembled crowd.
Devotees, many dressed in traditional attire, participated in singing, clapping, and reciting verses, creating an atmosphere of collective faith. The event underscored the cultural importance of Radhashtami in Madhya Pradesh’s religious calendar.
Local authorities reported the gathering proceeded peacefully, with temple officials coordinating crowd management and ensuring the smooth conduct of the rituals.
