The Punjab Election Commission has published the final electoral rolls for every one of the state's 117 assembly constituencies following the Supplementary Revision (SIR).
The Punjab Election Commission announced that the final electoral rolls for all 117 assembly constituencies have been released. The update comes after the completion of the Supplementary Revision (SIR), a routine exercise to incorporate new voters and correct existing entries. The commission said the revised rolls are now available for public scrutiny and will form the basis for the upcoming state elections.
Election officials have urged citizens to verify their details on the newly published rolls and submit any objections within the stipulated deadline. The verification process will be conducted through designated centers across the state and online portals.
The finalization of the rolls is a critical step in ensuring a transparent and inclusive electoral process, as it determines the eligible voter base for the next Punjab Legislative Assembly poll.
