Punjab Police Seize ₹772 Crore, Arrest Over 10,000 Drug Smugglers in Four Years

Punjab Police has intensified its anti‑drug campaign, targeting trafficking networks across the state. Over the last four years, the force reports the arrest of more than 10,000 individuals involved in drug smuggling. In the same period, authorities seized assets worth ₹772 crore, including cash, vehicles and properties linked to the illicit trade. The crackdown is part of a broader effort to curb drug availability and dismantle organized smuggling rings in Punjab.
