Punjab Police Seize RDX‑laden IED, Pistols and Drugs in Multi‑Operation Sweep

Three separate operations carried out by Punjab Police led to the recovery of a RDX‑laden improvised explosive device (IED), multiple pistols and a quantity of narcotics. The devices were found in different locations across the state, according to police officials. The recovered IED contained a significant amount of RDX, a powerful explosive used in bomb manufacturing. The pistols were seized from a suspect’s possession, while the drugs were identified as a mixture of locally produced narcotics. Police have stated that the operation was part of an ongoing campaign to curb illicit arms and drug trafficking in Punjab.
