The Punjab Public Service Commission announced its 2026 PCS mains results, with candidates alleging irregularities and noting that 24.21% of selected candidates came from a single centre.
The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) released the results of the 2026 PCS mains examination on Thursday. Several aspirants have raised concerns, alleging irregularities in the selection process. They point out that 24.21% of the candidates selected for the final stage were from a single examination centre.
The PPSC has not yet responded to the allegations. Candidates who have been selected are awaiting confirmation of their final appointments. The controversy has prompted calls for a transparent review of the selection procedure.
The commission has historically conducted examinations across multiple centres to ensure fairness, but the recent concentration of selected candidates in one centre has raised questions among the applicant community.
