Khanna, Punjab – Officials from the state health department, together with police, conducted a raid on a salon located in the GTB Market area on Wednesday. The operation targeted the establishment after complaints that it was advertising a cure for baldness using unverified hair packs, shampoos and oils.
During the search, authorities confiscated several samples of the hair treatment products, along with promotional material that claimed to reverse hair loss. The seized items are being examined for compliance with health and consumer protection regulations.
The health department has warned that false therapeutic claims can mislead consumers and pose health risks. The investigation remains ongoing, and further action will be taken based on the findings of the product analysis.
