The Punjab government announced a partnership with consulting firm Zinnov during the Confluence 2026 summit, aiming to accelerate the development of a global capability centre in Mohali.

The Punjab administration formalised a collaboration with global consulting firm Zinnov at the Confluence 2026 summit held in Mohali. The agreement was presented as a strategic step to harness the city’s growing appeal as a hub for multinational corporations.

Officials highlighted that the partnership will focus on creating a Global Capability Centre (GCC) ecosystem in Mohali, leveraging Zinnov’s expertise in technology advisory and market entry. The move is expected to attract foreign investment, generate high‑skill jobs and position the region alongside other Indian GCC hotspots.

Zinnov will work closely with state agencies to map out infrastructure needs, talent pipelines and regulatory frameworks, thereby streamlining the setup process for prospective investors. The collaboration underscores Punjab’s intent to diversify its economic base and tap into the expanding global services market.
