Punjab engineers urge CM Mann to boost power generation amid rising electricity imports

Engineers in Punjab have written to Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, highlighting the state’s growing reliance on out‑of‑state power purchases and private generators, and calling for an immediate policy review to expand generation capacity.
