Punjab Congress chief Parag Singh, with Sachin Pilot, visits Golden Temple in Amritsar

Punjab Congress president Parag Singh arrived at the Shri Harmandir Sahib complex in Amritsar, accompanied by senior party figure Sachin Pilot. The duo entered the precinct in the early hours, joining worshippers gathered at the holy shrine.

The Golden Temple, the holiest gurdwara of Sikhism, often hosts political leaders seeking to connect with the Sikh community. Their presence was noted by on‑lookers and reported by local media.

While no formal statements were released at the site, the visit is being interpreted as an effort by the Congress leadership to reaffirm its engagement with Punjab’s religious and cultural landscape ahead of upcoming electoral contests.
