Punjab CM inaugurates renovated J&K House in Amritsar

The Chief Minister of Punjab presided over the inauguration ceremony of the renovated J&K House in Amritsar. The event marked the completion of refurbishment works on the historic guest house that accommodates officials from Jammu and Kashmir during their visits to the state.
The renovated facility features upgraded accommodation, modern amenities and improved security arrangements, reflecting a joint effort by the Punjab and Jammu & Kashmir administrations to enhance inter‑state cooperation.
State officials said the upgraded J&K House will serve as a more comfortable venue for diplomatic and cultural exchanges, reinforcing ties between the two regions.
The inauguration was attended by senior bureaucrats and representatives of both state governments, who highlighted the building's role in fostering goodwill.
