Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema stated that a video purportedly showing Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann in a sacrilegious act is fabricated. Independent forensic reports confirm the person in the clip is not the CM.
Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema has vehemently denied allegations against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann concerning a sacrilege incident. Cheema asserted that a video circulating, which allegedly depicts Mann in a sacrilegious act, is entirely false.
To counter the claims, Cheema presented findings from forensic analyses conducted by two independent laboratories. These reports conclusively establish that the individual featured in the video is not Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The Aam Aadmi Party leader suggested the video was part of a deliberate attempt by opposition parties to defame the Chief Minister.
The controversy arose after the Akal Takht, the highest temporal seat of Sikhism, had issued an edict concerning Mann in relation to the controversial clip.
