Punjab Assembly Walkout: Congress MPs Protest Outside Parliament

On Monday, the Punjab Legislative Assembly convened for its second session of the year. A group of Congress MPs staged a walkout outside the assembly premises to protest the ruling government’s policies. The walkout was part of a broader protest by the opposition, which has been demanding a review of recent government decisions. Punjab Finance Minister expressed concern over political statements regarding deceased individuals, urging that such matters not be politicized. The walkout ended after a brief discussion with assembly officials, and the legislators returned to the assembly hall.
