Investigators followed a tip that the burqa‑clad suspect switched to an e‑rickshaw, which led them to locate Shraddha Dubey on the 11th floor of a building.
Police officials said that a change in the suspect's mode of transport became a pivotal lead in an ongoing case. Shraddha Dubey, who was observed wearing a burqa, was seen moving from one vehicle to an e‑rickshaw, prompting investigators to focus on that detail.
The e‑rickshaw sighting was corroborated by surveillance footage and eyewitness accounts, which together narrowed the search area. By tracking the e‑rickshaw’s route and its final drop‑off point, officers were able to pinpoint a residential address.
Further verification placed Dubey on the 11th floor of the identified building, where she was subsequently apprehended. The breakthrough underscores how seemingly minor transport clues can accelerate police work in complex investigations.
