Police have booked a case after derogatory posters of Prime Minister Narendra Modi were found at the Trichy BJP office.
Police in Trichy registered a case under the Indian Penal Code after discovering a series of posters that insulted Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the local Bharatiya Janata Party office.
The posters, which were displayed on the office premises, contained slurs and were deemed offensive by authorities. The case has been booked under sections dealing with defamation and public order.
