In Chatra, police arrested a suspected drug dealer found in possession of 5 grams of brown sugar, a form of cocaine.
Earlier today, officers of the Chatra Police Station detained a suspect believed to be involved in drug trafficking.
During the operation, police seized 5 grams of brown sugar, a commonly used form of cocaine, from the suspect’s possession.
A senior police officer stated that the arrest is part of a broader campaign to curb illicit drug trade in the district.
The suspect was taken into custody and is currently being processed under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
