The PMCH Tower‑3 was officially opened in Patna, and Health Minister Nishant Kumar clarified the reasons behind the delay of a paramedical students' session.

Patna witnessed the inauguration of the third tower of the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) on Thursday, marking a significant addition to the city's healthcare infrastructure. The ceremony was attended by senior officials, including Health Minister Nishant Kumar, who cut the ribbon and inspected the newly completed facilities.

During the event, Minister Kumar addressed concerns raised by paramedical students about the postponed start of their academic session. He explained that the delay stemmed from pending approvals and the need to align the new tower's resources with the curriculum requirements.

The minister assured that the administration is working to expedite the necessary clearances, and the students can expect the session to commence shortly. The new tower is expected to house advanced diagnostic and treatment units, enhancing patient care at PMCH.

Local health officials highlighted that the expansion will increase bed capacity and provide modern equipment, aligning with the state's goal to improve medical services across Bihar.

The inauguration underscores the government's focus on strengthening health infrastructure while simultaneously addressing educational concerns of future healthcare professionals.
