This significant financial transfer aims to benefit a large number of farmers across the nation. A sum exceeding ₹18,880 crore is slated for direct credit into the bank accounts of more than 9.44 crore farmer beneficiaries. The PM-KISAN scheme is a central government initiative providing income support to landholding farmer families.
