Petrol price hits ₹117.51 per litre in Andhra Pradesh, ₹88.66 in Andaman

Business Today has published the latest retail prices of petrol across two Indian regions. The daily price for a litre of petrol in Andhra Pradesh stands at ₹117.51, whereas the same fuel is sold for ₹88.66 per litre in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. These figures reflect the official rates announced by the respective state and union territory authorities for the current pricing cycle. Price differentials between states are common in India, largely because each government sets its own excise and value‑added tax rates and because transportation costs vary with geography. The published numbers give consumers a clear view of the cost gap between the mainland and the island territory.
