Payoneer, in association with The Economic Times, has introduced the Payoneer India Cross-Border Excellence Awards 2026 to recognize Indian businesses contributing to the nation's expanding global trade. The awards will culminate in a New Delhi gala in September 2026.
Global financial platform Payoneer has launched the Payoneer India Cross-Border Excellence Awards 2026, partnering with The Economic Times. This initiative aims to formally acknowledge Indian businesses and entrepreneurs who are instrumental in driving the country's cross-border commerce growth.
The awards ceremony is scheduled to take place at an exclusive gala in New Delhi in September 2026. The event will also feature a conference program focusing on critical aspects of India's cross-border trade, including policy shifts, digital infrastructure, and trade reforms pertinent to the nation's $2 trillion export target by 2030-31.
Recognizing a diverse range of contributions, the awards will cover multiple categories across various sectors. These include service exports like IT, AI/ML, Digital Marketing, SaaS, Managed Services, and EdTech, as well as e-commerce exports in Fashion & Apparel, Home & Kitchen, and Personal Care, Health & Wellness. Additional independent categories will honor D2C Cross-Border Brands, Global Employers, Women in Export Excellence, and Company Incorporation Partners, alongside regional awards for export leaders in North, South, and West/East India.
An independent jury comprising senior industry figures will evaluate shortlisted nominees based on a framework that weighs growth and scale (40%), market reach and diversification (30%), innovation (15%), employment impact (10%), and digital readiness (5%). Winners will gain significant visibility across Payoneer and The Economic Times platforms, reaching potential investors and global partners.
