Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary today laid the foundation stone for a comprehensive restoration of the historic water tank situated within the Miller High School campus in Patna. The ceremony, attended by school officials and local dignitaries, marked the start of a project aimed at preserving the structure’s heritage while upgrading its functionality.
The renovation plan includes structural repairs, aesthetic enhancements, and the addition of a contemporary cafeteria that will serve students and staff. Officials said the new facility will be designed to meet modern hygiene standards and provide a comfortable dining environment.
State authorities highlighted that the initiative reflects a broader commitment to safeguarding cultural landmarks in Bihar while improving educational infrastructure. The project is expected to be completed in phases, with the cafeteria becoming operational once the tank’s restoration is finalized.
