Patna HC Reinstates Rasulpur Panchayat Head Muanna Sahni, Cancels Removal Order

The Patna High Court has annulled the December 12, 2025 order that removed Muanna Sahni from his post as head of Rasulpur Panchayat in Begusarai, and directed his reinstatement.
The Patna High Court today annulled the removal order dated 12 December 2025 that had stripped Muanna Sahni of his position as head of Rasulpur Panchayat in Begusarai district. The court directed that Sahni be reinstated to his post immediately.
The decision follows a petition filed by Sahni challenging the legality of the removal. In its ruling, the court found that the removal order did not comply with procedural requirements and was therefore void.
Sahni’s reinstatement restores his administrative authority over the Panchayat, allowing him to resume duties that were halted following the earlier order. The court’s order is expected to bring stability to local governance in the area.
