Patiala: 5 Friends Swept Away

In a tragic incident, five friends ventured into the Bhakhra canal in Patiala to escape the scorching heat. The group, comprising friends, had decided to take a dip in the canal, located on Nabha Road. However, they were caught off guard by the strong currents, which swept them away. Rescue operations were promptly launched, and three of the friends were rescued. Unfortunately, two friends are still missing, and search efforts are underway to locate them.
