Paranur Toll Plaza Becomes Barrier‑Free Today, No More Stops

Paranur toll plaza in Tamil Nadu will now operate without barriers, starting today. The change is part of the state’s initiative to streamline traffic flow and reduce congestion on major routes.

Vehicles will pass through the plaza using electronic toll collection, eliminating the need to stop at the toll counter.

Authorities expect the new system to cut travel time, lower emissions and improve road safety. The transport department will monitor the rollout and gather feedback from commuters.
