Paramount Pictures unveiled the first character posters for its upcoming gothic‑horror adaptation ‘Ebenezer’, starring Johnny Depp, which reinterprets Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol.
Paramount Pictures has released the initial set of character posters for its new film "Ebenezer." The visuals showcase Johnny Depp in a re‑imagined role drawn from Charles Dickens’ 1843 novella A Christmas Carol, but presented as a gothic horror story.
The studio described the project as a darker, atmospheric take on the classic tale, aiming to blend the familiar moral narrative with horror‑genre aesthetics. Alongside Depp, the posters feature other cast members, though their identities have not been disclosed.
"Ebenezer" is slated for a future release, with the promotional campaign now focusing on the film’s visual tone and its departure from traditional holiday adaptations. Paramount expects the horror‑infused version to attract both fans of the original story and audiences seeking fresh, genre‑bending cinema.
