Administration talks have failed to resolve the water dispute concerning the Panchana Dam. Protesters are threatening a rail blockade if water is not released as per the High Court's order.
A significant water dispute has emerged over the Panchana Dam, with 74 villages reportedly involved in a standoff. The core of the conflict lies in the release of water from the dam.
Two rounds of discussions held by the administration to mediate the conflict have concluded without a resolution. The situation remains tense as the demands of the affected villages have not been met.
Protesters have issued a stern warning, threatening to escalate their agitation by blocking railway lines after June 28. This threat comes in response to the alleged non-compliance with a High Court order mandating the release of water from the dam.
