Police in Goa say more than 60 women were tricked into opening bank accounts that were later used as mule accounts, and two suspects have been taken into custody.
Goa police have disclosed that a network allegedly coerced over 60 local women into providing their personal bank account details, which were subsequently used as mule accounts for illicit financial transactions. The scheme reportedly involved convincing the women that their accounts would be used for legitimate purposes, while the funds were actually being moved for criminal activities.
