More than five hundred students from Indore schools participated in the ‘Ahinsa Rang’ painting contest, showcasing messages of non‑violence, peace and humanitarian values on canvas.

Indore witnessed a vibrant display of youthful creativity as over five hundred schoolchildren took part in the ‘Ahinsa Rang’ painting competition. The event, jointly organized by the Jain Social Group (Ahilya) and The Diaspark School, invited participants to convey the ideals of non‑violence, peace and humanitarian values through artwork on canvas.

Students employed a wide palette of colors to illustrate concepts such as harmony, compassion and the legacy of Ahimsa. The artworks ranged from abstract representations of peace to vivid depictions of community solidarity, reflecting both traditional Indian motifs and contemporary artistic expressions.

The competition concluded with a prize ceremony in which several participants were honoured for their originality and depth of message. Organizers highlighted that the initiative aims to nurture a culture of non‑violence among the younger generation and reinforce ethical values through creative education.

Representatives from the Jain Social Group and The Diaspark School emphasized the importance of integrating moral education with artistic activities, noting that such platforms encourage children to internalise and promote peaceful principles in everyday life.
