Meghalaya's State Programme for Accelerated Resource Knowledge (SPARK) has reportedly touched the lives of over 20,000 students, according to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma. The scheme, launched to provide supplementary academic support and digital resources to school‑going children, focuses on remote and under‑served areas of the state.
The government says the initiative supplies learning kits, tablets and teacher‑training modules, helping bridge the gap between urban and rural education standards. Early assessments indicate improved attendance and higher test scores among participating schools.
