Over 17,500 Evacuated as Floods Hit 26 Areas in Uttar Pradesh, 3.53 Lakh Affected

State disaster officials said that floodwaters have inundated 26 districts and sub‑districts across Uttar Pradesh, prompting large‑scale evacuations. Over 17,500 individuals were shifted to relief shelters and temporary camps as the water level rose.
