Oscar-entry film 'Gondhal' to hold exclusive preview screenings across Indian cities

The film "Gondhal", selected as India’s official entry for the upcoming Academy Awards, has revealed plans for exclusive preview screenings in several Indian cities. Organisers have described the showings as limited‑access events intended for early audiences and industry insiders.

While the exact venues and dates have not been disclosed, the announcement confirms that the screenings will be spread across multiple metropolitan centres, offering cinephiles a chance to view the film before its nationwide release.

"Gondhal" explores themes rooted in regional culture and has generated considerable buzz since its selection for the Oscars. The early screenings are expected to build momentum and gather critical feedback ahead of the global awards season.

Industry observers note that such preview tours are a common strategy for Oscar‑entry films to raise their profile domestically and internationally. The film’s producers have urged interested viewers to stay tuned for further details on ticketing and locations.
