The Odisha Revenue Minister inspected the ongoing heavy rain situation, overseeing the deployment of 33 ODRAF teams while the State Emergency Operations Centre remained operational round the clock.
The Revenue Minister of Odisha visited the districts most affected by the recent heavy rainfall to assess damage and coordinate relief efforts.
He observed that the state government has mobilised a total of thirty‑three ODRAF (Odisha Disaster Response Force) teams, which are engaged in rescue operations, sandbagging and distribution of essential supplies.
The State Emergency Operations Centre (SEOC) has been kept operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to monitor weather updates, manage resources and provide real‑time information to local authorities.
Officials said the continuous SEOC watch and the expanded ODRAF presence aim to minimise loss of life and property as the monsoon system moves across the region.
Public advisories continue, urging residents in flood‑prone areas to stay alert, avoid unnecessary travel and follow instructions from local officials.
