Chief Minister Mohan Majhi visited several flood‑impacted locations across Odisha to get a first‑hand view of the damage. Accompanied by senior officials, he inspected relief camps, road conditions and ongoing rescue operations. The chief minister emphasized the need for swift coordination among state agencies to provide essential aid to displaced families.

According to Kanak News, the on‑ground assessment highlighted challenges such as disrupted transportation, power outages, and limited access to clean water. Local authorities are mobilising additional resources to restore connectivity and ensure the delivery of food and medical supplies.

The CM assured residents that the state government will continue to monitor the situation closely and will allocate necessary funds for rehabilitation. He urged citizens to cooperate with relief teams and follow safety advisories as the monsoon season progresses.
