Odisha’s chief minister will visit the United Arab Emirates next week with the aim of courting foreign investors and securing new projects for the state.

The chief minister of Odisha is scheduled to land in the United Arab Emirates early next week as part of a delegation aimed at attracting foreign capital. Officials said the trip will focus on sectors such as renewable energy, infrastructure, tourism and information technology, where the state is seeking large‑scale projects.

During the visit the CM is expected to hold meetings with UAE government representatives in Abu Dhabi and with business leaders in Dubai. The agenda includes presentations on Odisha’s investment incentives, land‑allocation policies and the progress of ongoing projects.

State officials highlighted that the outreach follows a broader strategy to diversify Odisha’s economy and increase its share of foreign direct investment. They hope the talks will result in concrete memoranda of understanding and pave the way for future collaborations between the two regions.
