Notebooks and Pens from Chhattisgarh Durga Pandal to Be Given to Children

The decorative setup of a Durga Pandal in Chhattisgarh incorporated notebooks and pens as part of its display. After the celebrations, the organisers announced that these school supplies will be collected and redistributed. The decision aims to give the items a second life and support children’s learning needs in the surrounding community. Distribution is planned to take place in the weeks following the festival, with local volunteers coordinating the hand‑over. Officials said the move reflects a broader effort to promote resource reuse while encouraging education among young residents.
