Northern Railway to Deploy 11 Pairs of Special Trains for Festival Rush

To manage the surge in passenger traffic during the festive season, Northern Railway announced the operation of 11 pairs of special trains across several routes.
The upcoming festive period is expected to draw large numbers of travelers across the northern belt of India, prompting concerns about overcrowded regular services. In response, Northern Railway has decided to run additional special trains to ease the load on its network.
A total of eleven pairs of special trains will be introduced on selected routes, providing extra capacity for passengers traveling to and from major festival destinations. The railway authority has scheduled these services to coincide with peak travel days, ensuring that commuters have more options during the holiday rush.
