Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated the JD(U) ‘Neetish Samvad’ program at the party’s state office in Patna and departed roughly fifteen minutes later.
On a recent morning, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar arrived at the Janata Dal (United) state office in Patna to launch the party’s newly announced “Neetish Samvad” series, an event timed with discussions on the Farakka water agreement. He was received by senior party functionaries and a modest gathering of journalists.
After delivering a brief opening remark, Kumar stepped away from the podium and exited the venue within roughly fifteen minutes. No extensive speech was recorded, and his swift departure was noted by on‑lookers as indicative of a tightly packed schedule.
The programme then proceeded with JD(U) national president Sanjay Jha taking the stage to outline the party’s forthcoming activities and strategies. Party workers described the chief minister’s brief appearance as courteous but limited by pressing commitments.
Media reports highlighted the unusual brevity of the chief minister’s participation, prompting speculation about the priorities of the state leadership ahead of upcoming political engagements.
