Nishant Sindhu scores century as Haryana forced to follow on against Mumbai in Ranji Trophy

Nishant Sindhu, opening for Haryana, reached the three‑figure mark in the ongoing Ranji Trophy encounter with Mumbai. His century was the lone highlight for the home side as wickets fell at regular intervals after his dismissal.

Mumbai built a substantial first‑innings total, putting Haryana under pressure. The visitors could not recover, and the deficit forced Haryana to follow on, extending the match by another innings.

The result underscores Mumbai’s dominance in the fixture while Sindhu’s knock remains a personal milestone in an otherwise disappointing team performance.
