New Zealand to tour India for Test series as per Cricinfo schedule

The international cricket calendar now includes a Test series where New Zealand will travel to India. According to Cricinfo, the tour is slated to begin later this year, featuring the traditional five‑day format that tests both skill and endurance. This engagement follows the two nations' longstanding cricketing relationship and is expected to draw significant attention from fans in both countries.

While exact venues and match dates are yet to be officially released, the series will form part of the bilateral commitments under the ICC's Future Tours Programme. Cricket authorities in both India and New Zealand are coordinating logistics, including travel, practice sessions, and broadcast arrangements, to ensure a smooth execution of the tour.

The upcoming Tests are anticipated to provide a platform for emerging talent and seasoned players alike, offering valuable experience in sub‑continental conditions. Stakeholders expect competitive matches that will contribute to the rankings and shape the teams' preparations for upcoming global tournaments.
