New Rhino Calf Born in Assam's Manas National Park

Recently, park officials in Assam's Manas National Park observed a newborn Indian rhinoceros calf emerging from the dense forest. The calf is part of the park's ongoing conservation program aimed at boosting the endangered species' population. Manas, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is renowned for its rich biodiversity and serves as a critical habitat for rhinos. Conservationists view the birth as a positive indicator of the park's ecological health. Authorities will continue to monitor the calf’s growth and wellbeing as it develops in the protected environment.
